You may have heard about never use cast iron cookware on smooth top stove. The best cookware for smooth top stove is often not include cast iron pans. One of the biggest disadvantages of smooth top stoves is that the surface is easily scratched and broken by cookware.

#1 Choosing modern cast iron pan
You have had to spend considerable expense for a new smooth glass top stove, so it is absolutely essential to spend a bit more on upgrading your cookware. #2 Don’t Slide!

Any excess food that sticks or burns to the outer side of the bottom can have a habit of causing scratches or dark marks or stains and smudges on the surface of the glass if it’s left there. Sometimes these stains can be difficult to remove from while smooth top.
